Adult Withdrawal Management and Stabilization Services (Detox)

WHAT WE DO AND WHO WE SERVE

What services do you provide?

Our Detox Program provides medical withdrawal management in a safe, supervised environment. We support the medical aspects of withdrawal only, which is why our program is short-term.

What is the difference between detox and treatment?

Detox is a short stay focused on safely managing withdrawal.
Treatment is a longer-term process that helps build the skills needed for sustained recovery; including counselling, psychosocial skills, and emotional regulation skills.

What age do I need to be to access your program?

Our program is for adults 19+.
If you’re under 19, please contact our Youth Recovery House, who can help arrange youth detox

What area do you serve?

We provide medically supervised withdrawal management (detox) services to individuals living within the Interior Health Region.

Can my partner and I come at the same time?

Unfortunately, we cannot admit partners together. However, we can try to arrange consecutive intakes within a reasonable timeframe.
