Since its opening in the spring of 2021, The Bridge's Youth Recovery House (YRH) on Laurier Avenue in Kelowna has been a lifeline for young individuals seeking to change their relationship with substances. YRH provides crucial withdrawal management services and a comprehensive three-month, live-in substance use treatment program for youth aged 12 to 18. Since we began this journey, we have supported 108 youth through our withdrawal management services and welcomed 95 individuals into our treatment program.
The impact of YRH extends far beyond numbers. Each of these young people represents a life touched, a future redirected, and a family given hope. Our dedicated team, available 24/7, ensures that the care we provide is safe, effective, and versatile. The success of our program relies on the commitment of our diverse staff, which includes:
-
7 Full-Time Program Facilitators: Ensuring our daily programming runs smoothly.
-
4 Full-Time Recovery Care Workers: Offering continuous support and care and maintaining the cleanliness of our facility.

Furthermore, our team conducts extensive individualized case management and transitional planning to ensure that youth can access and navigate additional supports within their home communities, reinforcing our commitment to long-term recovery and sustainable change.
We invite you to join us in our vision to build a resilient community where everyone thrives. Your support, whether as a donor, community partner, funder, or volunteer, is invaluable. Together, we are making a profound difference in the lives of the youth we serve and, by extension, in our community.
