Volunteer Spotlight: Chloe Corcoran

Volunteers play a vital role in strengthening connection and support across The Bridge. This month, we are proud to spotlight Chloe Corcoran, a dedicated program volunteer who has been supporting the Beyond the Blues program every Wednesday since July 2025.

Chloe was first inspired to get involved while working at the courthouse, where she saw firsthand how The Bridge supports individuals and families in the community.
“I just knew I wanted to be a part of that,” she shares.

A Moment That Stayed with Her

Chloe’s first day volunteering with Beyond the Blues is one she won’t forget.

“I was incredibly nervous,” she recalls. “I quickly saw a beautiful newborn baby girl and was given the opportunity to watch over her for the session.”

Over the weeks and months that followed, Chloe had the chance to watch that same child grow and develop. What began as a moment of uncertainty quickly became something much more meaningful.

“Seeing the development of these children from session to session is truly something special,” she says. “It enriches my life in ways I never imagined. It is truly magical.”

Moments like these reflect the heart of Beyond the Blues, creating space for connection, support, and growth for both parents and their children.

Making a Difference in the Community

Through her time volunteering, Chloe has seen firsthand the impact The Bridge has across the community.

“They make a huge difference by providing support and guidance to so many local people in need,” she says.

Her perspective highlights the importance of programs like Beyond the Blues, where small moments of care and connection can have lasting effects on families.

Encouraging Others to Get Involved

When asked how to encourage others to get involved, Chloe points to the importance of reaching younger generations.

“An increase in social media presence would help,” she suggests.

It’s a simple but important reminder that awareness plays a key role in building community involvement and support.

A Little About Chloe

Outside of volunteering, Chloe enjoys knitting and crocheting, especially creating baby blankets that she gives away to members of the community, as well as reading and spending time with her husband and their two cats.

Her creativity and generosity extend beyond her volunteer role, reflecting the same care she brings to her time at The Bridge.

We are grateful for the compassion and dedication Chloe brings to the Beyond the Blues program. Volunteers like Chloe help create meaningful moments of connection every day, strengthening support for individuals and families across our community.
